Peter's consulting practice has continued this research as a theme in an evolving research agenda. His practice in Redesign Research, Inc. involves consulting for interactive design, usability and field research, and product/innovation strategy. Peter is a visiting scientist at University of Toronto, working in a research program of collaborative informatics. See Peter's blogsite about new thinking in design: Design Dialogues

During the course of his Union Institute doctoral program, Peter was privileged to intern with Aleco Christakis, for a period of time working with Kevin Dye and Tom Flanagan, sponsored by CWA.

Dr. Jones authored Team Design: A Practitioner’s Guide to Collaborative Innovation, originally published in 1998, revised 2002. He convenes educational and research workshops in innovation, design, values, and organizational usability practices.
